T'SIGN

For Swiss Post, a series of four stamps with the values -.85, 1.00, 1.50 and 2.00 francs was designed on the theme of "75 years of the Swiss merchant fleet". The result is four stamps featuring ships sailing under the Swiss flag. They are linked by a compass, which assigns a different cardinal point to each ship, and the wave grid that frames the ships in the block of four.

The Swiss flag, which is only not square on the high seas, is of course a must. 

In addition to the stamps, a first-day cover with cancellation and four postcards featuring the respective ships Lausanne, Lavaux, Stockhorn and Lugano were also produced.
